Dear respected and beloved citizens of Hongseong County,

This is Lee Sun-kyun, chairperson of the Hongseong County Council.

First, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the citizens for their unwavering support and endorsement, which has enabled the Hongseong County Council to carry out its legislative activities faithfully over the past year.

July 2023 marked the first anniversary of the launch of the ninth Hongseong County Council.

If 2023 was a foundational year for the start and growth of the Hongseong County Council, 2024 will be a year of leaping forward, maturing, and striving to achieve results that will satisfy our citizens.

The 11 members of the Hongseong County Council consider public sentiment to be paramount and will continue to work tirelessly on the ground and maintain a humble attitude to listen to every valuable opinion.

Lastly, 2024, the Year of the Blue Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, is significant because the dragon originates from the realm of imagination and is the only creature among the 12 zodiac animals that do not exist in reality.
